Imagine a company funds the planting of 10,000 trees through a CSR programme. To turn this claim into verifiable proof, GPE addresses five critical questions directly on the ground:

1. What was actually planted?

CSR reports claim tree plantation, but verifying species, sapling health, and actual count requires structured field-level evidence submissions.

2. Where was it planted?

Geospatial coordinates must confirm the physical location matches target restoration zones, avoiding overlapping claims or double-counting.

3. When did it happen?

Evidence must be timestamped at ingestion to establish a clear chronological sequence of implementation, preventing retroactive alterations.

4. Is the submitted evidence consistent and genuine?

Uploaded photos and metadata must undergo cryptographic integrity and consistency checks to ensure they haven't been manipulated or duplicated.

5. Can it be independently reviewed later?

Third-party auditors need an open, structured way to review the verification history and evidence details without manual, paper-based bottlenecks.
